A couple years ago I shared my thoughts about President Trump and the direction this country was heading. I was dismayed (to put it lightly) about his unfiltered governance through tweets. I’ve tried to write about it a few more times since then, but it seemed like every time I could collect my thoughts on something, he would do something else that would put me back on my heels. I couldn’t never get pen to paper fast enough.
There’s something else that’s been bothering me. It’s not the revolving door of his staff and high cabinet level positions (especially the DOD) months before the end of his term, or his reluctance to concede an election that he has no hopes of winning either through popular vote or the contested electoral college. It’s the voice he’s given to conspiracy theories and the seeds of doubt he has planted in our democracy.
